The Little Ghost who was a quilt

My nephew welcomed his first son into the world, and his wife asked for books to build the baby's library. I have seen many of these quilts that people have made to go along with "The Little Ghost Who Was A Quilt," and I thought it would be the perfect first-baby gift. Even better, I was able to use a significant number of scrap pieces, and I got to practice chain piecing with rows. Suzy Quilts has a great tutorial on doing this. 

After piecing, I hand quilted using lilac, baby blue, and white Aurifil 12 wt cotton. This was such a fun, special project to introduce myself to my great-nephew and I hope it travels with him for many, many years!
